A superhero family
For almost 20 years David Finch has inspired fans with his raw and gritty art aesthetic. His comic credentials include creator-owned successes “Ascension” and “Aphrodite IX” and main stream hits like “Ultimate X-men”, “New Avengers”, “Moon Knight” and “Ultimatum”. Moving to DC Comics in 2010, Dave used his powerful and emotional artwork to tackle Gotham’s grittiest hero in “Batman: Dark Knight”. His work with Geoff Johns on “Justice League of America” and “Forever Evil” brought a fresh and exciting perspective to the DC universe of villains. November of 2014 saw another chapter begin in the career of this artistic phenom when he began working on one of comics’ most iconic characters: “Wonder Woman”.

David’s wife Meredith Finch has been steeped into the world of comics since meeting David in 2005. Her works include “Wonder Woman” for DC Comics, “Xena: Warrior Princess” for Dynamite and “The Little Mermaid” for Zenescope. In 2017 she began her first foray into creator-owned comics. Titled “Rose”, this fantasy series, published by Image Comics, combines her love of mythology with modern issues.

V for Vendetta
David Lloyd is a British comics artist best known as the illustrator and co-creator of the story “V for Vendetta”, written by Alan Moore. Lloyd devised V's Guy Fawkes-inspired appearance. The stylized Guy Fawkes mask that Lloyd created for V for Vendetta has transcended the story and made its way into the real world, frequently being used by protesters.

Lloyd was one of the artists on the graphic horror anthology “Wasteland” for DC Comics with writers John Ostrander and Del Close. Lloyd has also worked on “Espers”, with writer James D. Hudnall, for Eclipse Comics; “Hellblazer”, with writers Grant Morrison and Jamie Delano, and “War Story”, with Garth Ennis, for DC; and “Global Frequency”, with Warren Ellis, for WildStorm. With Delano he drew “The Territory” for Dark Horse Comics, where he also worked on some of their licensed properties such as “Aliens” and “James Bond”.

In 2012 Lloyd established Aces Weekly, an online comics anthology featuring a variety of top creators (www.acesweekly.co.uk).

A case for Mickey and Donald
Miguel Fernandez Martínez is a Spanish comic artist, who became an artist of Disney comics in the mid-1980s. Miguel started out with several stories for the French Le Journal de Mickey, doing some “Mickey Mouse” stories and “Ellsworth” gags. In 1986 he began a collaboration with Egmont Publishing, known for the beloved and all-time favorite “Lustige Taschenbücher” series, and the Mickey Mouse magazine for which Miguel has provided many adventures of Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse.

In addition to his Disney work, Miguel has drawn for the Kauka series “Fix und Foxi”, “Fridolin” and “Knox”. Miguel Fernandez Martinez will be a guest of the Panini Comics booth at CCXP COLOGNE.
