All the worlds in one place

Behind Hagrid's Hut and to the left, past the X-Wing, turn right at the Ghostbusters and then head straight outdoors to the Medieval Market: Directions at the first Comic Con Experience in Cologne from 27 to 30 June 2019 could sound something like this. Spectacular setups from studios, publishing houses, companies fan groups and cosplayers will carry off visitors into universes familiar from film, series, comics and books. Hollywood stars, authors, comic artists and producers will give away some interesting details on the stages. Exclusive trailers will increase the anticipation for the next visit to the cinema.

In the northern section of Koelnmesse, film and series fans can see stars such as Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Game of Thrones), Benedict Wong (Avengers), Zachary Levi (Shazam!), Rebecca Mader (Once upon a time) and Mark Pellegrino (Supernatural) live and up close on the stage of the Thunder Theater powered by Cinedom and at autograph signing sessions. Comic fans can look forward to meeting world-renowned comic artists such as Ivan Reis and Joe Prado (both at the Panini Comics stand)), Brian Azzarello, Mike Deodato, David and Meredith Finch and David Lloyd . German stars from the comics scene, like author of “Nicht Lustig” Joscha Sauer , will also be there. All of them will be talking about their projects on the Ultra Stage powered by E.M.P..

Exclusive content from Universal Pictures Germany and Warner Bros.
DC will be commemorating 80 years of Batman all year round with live events, fan festivals and exclusive products. DC and Warner Bros. will celebrate the best detective in the world at CCXP COLOGNE with an interactive exhibition, panels and a special screening. A Batman area designed in the spectacular look of the Batcave complete with a Batcomputer and three legendary Batmobiles awaits visitors. With two cool photo ops and an Elbenwald store full of must-have merchandise, you can capture your memories forever. Fans can also look forward to a special screening of Batman (1989). This will be rounded off by a Q&A panel with Michael Uslan, the executive producer of all modern Batman films from the Burton to Nolan generation.

The content of the film studios is what sets CCXP apart from other comic cons: On 1 August, one month prior to the release of “Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw”, fans of the series will get an exclusive glimpse of what's new with the franchise at CCXP COLOGNE. Superstars Jason Statham and Idris Elba will take to the stage of the Thunder Theater powered by Cinedom to talk about their new film. Universal Pictures will present the McLaren and Rockcrawler, two original vehicles from the mega-blockbuster, on 500 square metres of event space in hall 8. Racing seats beckon with great prizes and a spectacular photo backdrop makes for one-of-a-kind souvenir pictures.

Warner Bros. Consumer Products is launching a Wizarding World-inspired shop together with Elbenwald at CCXP COLOGNE, which brings to life the magical theme worlds of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts. Fans can also take pictures with "Hagrid's Hut" and let themselves be enchanted by the sales exhibition of MinaLima, the graphic design duo behind the two franchises. Horror fans will also get their money's worth at CCXP COLOGNE: As part of a nationwide tour in a converted van designed to look like the Warrens' artifact room, "Annabelle 3" will be one of the highlights presented by Warner Bros. Pictures Germany at CCXP from 27 to 30 June 2019 on 150 square metres of exhibition space. Those who are brave enough will have the chance to enter the eerie room with all its evil spirits for a live escape room experience or to take a photo with the creepy doll – at your own risk of course! As a final highlight, there will be an exclusive pre-screening of "Annabelle 3" on Saturday, 29 June 2019 in the Thunder Theater powered by Cinedom.

The stage programme at the Thunder Theater powered by Cinedom will be moderated by entertainment professionals Steven Gätjen and Vanessa Pöhlmann.

A love for detail
Taking a photo with your favourite hero, clinking glasses at the Cantina Bar, ghost hunting with nerf guns and much more: CCXP COLOGNE is fuelled by the passion of the fans, and costume and game enthusiasts. Epic encounters and experiences are certain to happen, also with the help of the many fan groups and publishing houses who help to shape CCXP COLOGNE. From the ghost hunt to the bar brawl, you will find everything there.

At CCXP COLOGNE, the Ghostbusters German Division will be showing equipment and movie props and also giving visitors the opportunity to plunge into scenes with the help of a green screen photo point. Fearless visitors are needed for ghost hunting with nerf guns or to take Dr. Venkman's famous ESP test (ESP = extra sensory perception). The highlight at the Ghostbusters stand is the replica of the Ecto-1, the vehicle used in the first part from 1984 based on the 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor ambulance.

Fans of the Star Wars Universe are also sure to get their money's worth on a special theme area covering around 1,000 square metres in hall 7. The Star Wars X-Wingteam will present the X-Wing T 70 in its original size (10 x 12 metres) as well as a short film about its impressive history. The Mandalorianische Beskarschmiede is a costume group specialising in Mandalorian metal armour based on the notorious bounty hunter Boba Fett from the Star Wars saga. Star Wars Fans Dortmund e.V. will be presenting strong costumes, backdrops, props and decorative items from the Star Wars Universe. Entertainment will be provided with lightsaber shows and mannequin challenges. The new "Han Solo in Carbonite" photo backdrop will be celebrating its premiere at CCXP COLOGNE. The 501st Legion is the world's largest Star Wars costume organisation with more than 10,000 active members around the globe. The German Garrison will be there as a delegation of the 501st Legion, and supported by the Polish Garrison, which will build the legendary Cantina Bar on the stand. If you've always wanted to sit opposite Greedo and finish him off à la Han Solo, don't miss out on this highlight. Caution! Earworm guaranteed!

And of course the Marvel Universe will also be represented: A photo with Tony Stark alias Iron Man, Thor, Spiderman, Black Panther, Captain America, Black Widow and Captain Marvel is no problem thanks to the Avengers Live! fan group. The group has also prepared a musical highlight with live film music played by the Stark Entertainment Orchestra.
