Warner Bros. Consumer Products launched a Wizarding World themed shop in collaboration with Elbenwald at the CCXP COLOGNE in Cologne, Germany. The shop included items inspired by the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films. In addition, fans were able to take photos with “Hagrid’s Hut” and be enchanted by a selling installation from MinaLima, the graphic designers of the films.
The official Wizarding World shop in collaboration with Elbenwald was encompass an area of 200m² and offered merchandise for guests of every age. In addition to high-quality replica wands based on the ones used by Harry Potter and Newt Scamander, the shop also offered a wide selection of apparel and accessories, as well as special treats like Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans and Chocolate Frogs. No matter if you belong to Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Slytherin houses fans were able to equip themselves with all the necessary items.
Moreover, the CCXP COLOGNE offered fans of the half-giant Hogwarts gamekeeper, Rubeus Hagrid the unique opportunity, to experience the film set “Hagrid’s Hut” and shoot beautiful photos with their friends and family.
To complete the Wizarding World fan experience at the CCXP COLOGNE, Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima, the founders of the London-based graphic design studio MinaLima and renowned for creating immersive visitor experiences at their galleries and fan events, presented an enchanting selling installation. The principal exhibit in Cologne was a curated selection of collectible graphic art prints including iconic graphic prop replicas such as The Marauder’s Map and Daily Prophet newspapers. Also available for purchase were MinaLima-designed stationery and accessories inspired by the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films.
Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima were available to meet and greet fans at their booth in Hall 7 throughout the fair and participated in an exclusive panel on Friday 28 June, 6.30pm at the Thunder Theatre.
