The Jury 2019: Panel of experts in the field of Cosplay

The decision of which great cosplayer will leave the Thunder Theater with a prize that is guaranteed to be no easy one! All the more reason for us to be pleased that we have been able to win jury members of internationally experienced cosplayers and judges to take on this difficult challenge for us.

Laura aka Inaste

Laura aka Inaste started Cosplaying in 2015, but her passion for video games, animes and manga goes back to her early childhood. She first came into contact with Cosplay at a convention in 2015 and was so taken with the hobby that she built her first armour in the same year.

Her love for cosplaying is big armours with lots of details, where she invests a lot of time for painting. With her cosplays she wants to inspire and motivate other cosplayers and those who want to become one.

Tayla aka Kinpatsu Cosplay

Recently, way up in front of the C2E2 Crown Championship of Cosplay in Chicago, USA and soon will be at the CCXP COLOGNE in Cologne: The talented South African Kinpatsu rocks the cosplay scene with her great armour and detailed costume projects.

In addition to her successes on international stages, Kinpatsu provides the community with monthly tutorials and books on her latest cosplays. Kinpatsu is not only a jury member at the Cosplay Championship, she is also represented as an international cosplayer .

Riki Lecotey aka Riddle

Our head judge, Riki ‘Riddle’ LeCotey is a Canadian cosplayer, model, and costume designer based in Atlanta. She is internationally recognized as one of the top cosplayers and has extensive crafting experience as demonstrated by her awards earned on Heroes of Cosplay and features in various cosplay outlets.

In addition to her own cosplay work, Riddle works on set as a costumer, specializing in handling specialty costumes to dress the actors on set for films including Captain America: Civil War, Antman & the Wasp, Avengers Infinity War/EndGame. In her free time, she helps with the rehabilitation of squirrels and encourages everyone to respect their natural habitats.
